Bruce Springsteen Hates The British Armed Forces And Scores Number One In The Process

Sweet Moses on crutches, Bruce Springsteen has gone and topped the UK album charts with his new release 'Wrecking Ball', thereby underlining just how grotesquely dead rock music is at the moment.

The sweaty old busted-lung scored his ninth number one LP on these shores, showing that idiocy and a lack of taste is definitely not a new thing in the world.

And, to add insult to injury, The Boss' chart-topper shows his thorough and absolute contempt for the British Army.

Not happy with touting his brand of regressive, bloated cod-socio conscious pl0d-rock, Springsteen managed to land the top spot at the expense of a group of soon-to-be widowers.

That's right, The Boss elbowed his way past recording artistes Military Wives and their album 'In My Dreams'.

What's so galling about this is that it's people like Springsteen (Americans) who led Our Lads (copyright The Sun) to oil rich countries to die and then, despite the fact that singing is all the Military Wives have got, like a boorish Yank that he is, Bruce barged straight through the polite queue that had been made and spiked a giant Stars 'n' Stripes in the number one spot.

It is disgusting quite frankly.

At least other American legends had the decency to not overtake the potentially bereaved.

Lionel Richie's new album Tuskegee entered at number seven. This was a mark of respect to the British armed forces, potentially brought about after a warning shot from Gary Lineker who warned Richie of potential retributions in a brutal attack, which saw the former England captain throwing the Motown legend through a window for stealing crisps.

We now anticipate a formal press conference from David Cameron who is likely to declare war on Bruce Springsteen in the coming weeks.
