Yes it's a total cliche to feel a bit blue in January, but what can we say, it's hit us hard. Whether it's the gloomy weather here in London, the post-CES comedown or the agressive commuters that elbow-barge us into oncoming traffic, we're all a bit down and need some picking up.
So here are some of our favourite gadgets, accessories and neat little tech tips that should (hopefully) lift your mood just a little because they're colourful, practical or just plain silly.
Some of you may not have picked up a pen since 2005, but for those that still depend on a tatty notebook and biro to get their ideas straight, spend a few pennies on sprucing up your stationary. Don't worry, you don't need to blow your monthly wage at Paperchase, just buy a few key and colourful items for your desk. Yes it all seems a bit superficial, but come on, how can penguin-shaped paperclips NOT put a smile on your face? Animal paperclips, $7.25 from Jetpens. Bright Volant Moleskines, starting at £3.99 from Moleskine. If you're not into stationary brighten up your desk in other ways, like with a shiny new mouse or a silly mug. Silly mugs, £6 from Joy. Logitech Colour Collection Mouse, £29.99 from Logitech.
