Rihanna Says Chris Brown Collaboration ‘Made Sense’ Even Though It Massively Didn’t

So, your ex beat the living shit out of you on the way to an awards ceremony. Just imagine. It'd take a helluva lot to forgive him right? Not if you're Rihanna clearly. In fact, in the case of Rihanna and Chris Brown, no explanation is needed at all.

Even though the police report of the incident is one of the more harrowing things we've featured on these pages, it would appear we're all just supposed to gloss over it. Everything is fine.

But that didn't happen did it? Especially given that RiRi and Breezy (what is it with these infantile nicknames all the celebs have at the minute?) collaborated on some tunes recently. The closest thing we're going to get to an explanation is Rihanna's infuriating comments made this week.

Acknowledging the fact that people think its weird and/or worrying that Brown and Rihanna joined forces on the recent 'Birthday Cake' and 'Turn Up The Music', did she saying anything remotely intelligent or insightful?

Nay, did she say anything helpful?

Rihanna says it was her idea for Brown to appear on her song because he's "the hottest R&B artist" right now. He then asked her to be on his song.

So, is this how it works? You can beat the shit out of someone and they'll absolve you because you're currently famous? Is that it?

She says:

"There shouldn't be a divide. … It's music, and it's innocent."

Innocent? Chris Brown, currently on probation says otherwise. Also, well done to Rihanna for speaking up for all those women who feel voiceless after being domestically abused.

Just keep telling yourself that its all innocent and that there shouldn't be a divide. That'll help to heal your cuts and bruises won't it? That'll help you stop the night-terrors.

Twats.
