Anyway, Bobby – who is probably a really, really nice, healthy, lovely guy – is being accused of trying to muscle in on his dead ex-wife's millions. His dead ex-wife is Whitney Houston, if you needed the insultingly obvious pointing out to you. This cash-grab is a massive, massive surprise for everyone isn't it?
Brown stands accused of trying to leech off his daughter who just so happens to be the sole heir to Whitney's fortune, according to Whitney's mother and other assorted family members.
Some family sources have told TMZ that Cissy Houston is 'aggressively trying to block Bobby from getting close to 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina, fearing it's just a ploy to line his pockets.'
They're convinced that this is the case because they think Bobby's broke. If he's broke and his daughter suddenly has an estate worth around $20 million, well…
In addition to that, the Houston family have made it clear that Bobby is persona non grata (it means 'no worries') at Whitney's funeral and, furthermore, in Bobbi Kristina's life.
Of course, Bobby Brown, flawed as he is, could well be trying to make amends because he's a wreck of a man who watched his ex-wife die this weekend.
